Sit & Walk Pet Sitting Agreement This Pet Sitting Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into between [Client's Name] ("Client") and Sit & Walk ("Service Provider") on [Date]. 1. Services Provided 1.1. The Service Provider agrees to provide pet sitting services to the Client's pet(s) as outlined in this Agreement. 1.2. Services will include feeding, exercise, playtime, administering medication (if applicable), and any other services specified by the Client. 1.3. The Service Provider will exercise reasonable care and diligence in providing pet sitting services. 2. Duration of Services 2.1. Pet sitting services will be provided from [start date] to [end date]. 2.2. Specific visit times will be mutually agreed upon by both parties. 3. Fees and Payment 3.1. The Client agrees to pay the Service Provider the agreed-upon fee of [insert fee] per visit/day. 3.2. Payment terms shall be [insert terms, e.g., weekly or full payment upfront]. 3.3. Late Payments: If payment is not received within three (3) days of the due date, a $5 daily late fee will apply until full payment is received. 3.4. Payment Date: Payment is due on [insert date] for services scheduled. 4. Cancellation Policy 4.1. 7+ Days Prior to Start Date: Client forfeits deposit; no additional fees. 4.2. 2–6 Days Prior: Client is charged 50% of total service cost; deposit applied. 4.3. Less Than 48 Hours: Client is charged 100% of total service cost; deposit applied. 5. In-Home Services While Client Is Away 5.1. The Service Provider will perform all agreed-upon pet care services at the Client’s residence during the Client’s absence. 5.2. The Client agrees to provide access to the home (keys, codes, etc.) prior to the start of services. 5.3. The Service Provider will ensure the property is secured after each visit and will notify the Client of any issues or unusual activity. 5.4. The Client agrees to disclose any known hazards, alarms, or security instructions relevant to entering or exiting the home. 5.5. The Service Provider is not responsible for any damages not directly caused by their actions (e.g., plumbing failure, power outage, or natural disaster). 5.6. The Client shall ensure that their home is safe, stocked with pet supplies, and accessible for the duration of service. 6. Incidental Fees 6.1. The Client agrees to pay for any incidental charges that arise during the service period, including: • - Excessive clean-up (e.g., messes beyond normal accidents or waste) • - Damage caused by pets (e.g., destruction of furniture or doors) • - Emergency supply runs 6.2. Incidental charges over $20 will be billed and are payable within seven (7) days of invoice. 7. Early Termination 7.1. If the Client returns early and no longer requires services, the full fee for the reserved dates still applies. 7.2. No refunds or credits will be issued for unused days. 8. Late Check-In / Late Check-Out 8.1. Late Check-In: If the Client delays their departure or fails to notify the Service Provider within 24 hours of a scheduled start, the reservation may be canceled and subject to cancellation fees. 8.2. Late Check-Out: If the Client extends their return beyond the scheduled end date without prior agreement, an additional daily fee of [insert amount] will apply and must be paid upon return. 9. Emergency Situations 9.1. In a verified emergency (e.g., hospitalization, evacuation), cancellation or changes may be accommodated at the sole discretion of the Service Provider. Documentation may be required. 10. Liability and Indemnification 10.1. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider for any injury, illness, or damage arising from pet behavior or unforeseen incidents. 10.2. The Service Provider will take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of the Client’s pets and property. 11. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [insert jurisdiction]. 12. Entire Agreement This document constitutes the entire agreement and supersedes all prior discussions or representations between the parties.
